Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. She has been on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish writer, actress and comedian. After playing bits in several Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she was frequently appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. Following her win during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. In 2012, she was the second woman to ever be awarded the So You think You're Funny award. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide after Bea turned three, was a suicide victim. The news of his death only at 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her late father. Bea also published a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea and her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea had a job as an instructor at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want racing as a career. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
